Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-28
This page is a working draft prepared for the operator. Clauses marked [legal review] must be confirmed by a qualified adviser before launch.
This policy describes the site as it is actually built. It will be updated before any change that collects more data.
Data controller
Nicky Klendar. Contact: info@webyenilik.com. [legal review] Add the registered address and, if required, the data-protection contact.
What we collect
- No accounts. The site has no registration, login or comments. We do not ask for your name or email address to read or download a book.
- Reading preferences and position. The reader stores your font size, spacing, theme and last position in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- Search. Site search runs entirely in your browser against a static index; your queries are not sent to our servers.
- Hosting logs. The web host records standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, browser user agent, time) for security and error diagnosis. [legal review] Name the hosting provider, the log retention period and the legal basis (legitimate interest).
- Contact. If you email us or use the contact form, we keep the message for as long as needed to answer it.
Analytics
No analytics service is currently loaded.
Advertising and cookies
No advertising is currently served and no advertising cookies are set. If advertising is introduced, this section will describe the ad network, the cookies it uses, how to opt out of personalised ads, and the consent mechanism used for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland before it goes live.
See also the cookie policy.
Children
The site is a general-audience library. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) or similar laws. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be answered by email. [legal review] Add the supervisory authority and complaint route for the operator's country.
